Spinal Stenosis Treatment

Spinal stenosis occurs when the spinal canal narrows, compressing nerves. This can cause leg pain, numbness, weakness, or difficulty walking, especially in older adults.

    •    Leg pain with walking or standing

    •    Relief when sitting or bending forward

    •    Numbness or weakness in the legs

In appropriate cases, spinal decompression may:

    •    Reduce nerve compression

    •    Improve walking tolerance

    •    Decrease leg pain

Surgery is not always the first or best option.
